MARCH 15th 2025

Hello! One of the biggest highlights for me is that my art has meant I meet so many wonderful people. Suki, is a case in point. I met her at my stand at The Garlic Festival in 2023, she commissioned 3 paintings for her home in California, and yesterday I had the pleasure of doing a 1:1 painting workshop with her for the morning, while she was over visiting family on the island. It's so special when customers become firm friends!

FEBRUARY 22nd 2025. 

Afternoon all, the sun is shining at last and I'm back from a beautiful hour spent at the beach. It's so lovely to see people walking their dogs, smiling and making the most of a bright afternoon. Spring must be almost here as there were crocus, primroses and daffodils showing their cheerful faces in the hedgerows.

I've been continuing to work on some new pieces for the upcoming season of shows and exhibitions, I have four waiting to be varnished and I thought Id share another two of them with you; 'Race Day' and 'Heatwave' .

FEBRUARY 13th 2025.

Hello all. now that my exhibition at Brading Roman Villa has finished until April, I'm busy working on new pieces for this year's spring and summer events. Here are three of my latest paintings; the perennially popular Mermaid Gin, a portrait inspired by a couple I saw on Appley beach last summer, and a handsome stag, with his antlers picked out in copper leaf. 

All are painted with vibrant acrylic paints, finished with high gloss varnish and on box canvas so they are ready to hang. 

I hope you like them! 

Righty Ho! No rest for the wicked, and let's hope we soon see some sun and an end to these cold, grey days!
